The new
Knitty is up, and I had a good chuckle when I checked out the
Falling Leaves socks by Jessica Landers. She took the same pattern from Nicky Epstein's Knitting on the Edge for her socks as I did for my Springgrass Socks, except she didn't mirror it. There are some very nice sweaters and cardis in this issue, but my favorite is
Bubby, a little bear with the cutest expression. Now I know what to do with all those half skeins in my stash.

when i saw those socks i thought they were your pattern!
I noticed those socks and thought of you! I love the new knitty, there is at least one pattern I am SURE I will knit and a whole bunch I would definitely consider. Where as I just saw the new Kim Hargreaves collection and wasn't tempted by anything, not even a little bit.
Ditto, I totally thought they were your socks!
Bubby is adorable!
heh heh.. just to let you know.. i started on your spring grass pattern and charted the lace. i find charts easier to follow than directions.. gives me a sense of how the lace will turn out.
I, too, thought they were your socks! you have a following, it would appear!
I haven't tried your socks yet. too many things on the needles and not enough needles to go around. i'll try them soon.
I tagged you on my blog, I don't know if you've been tagged with this particular meme yet.

The same thing happened with me and the latest Interweave! (But it turns out they had already been done by Heartstrings Fiber Arts anyway ...) I guess great minds do think alike!)
