Where did you get that yarn??

Just a couple of quick notes on the last post: The Malabrigo (hmmm-ahhh) is called pink frost, number 17. I got it at my LYS, but you can probably find it somewhere on the internet. The Yarntini sock yarn can be purchased
here. It sells out super fast so you may want to get on the mailing list.
Stay tuned for more socks, a polar bear and a 2006 review. Oh, and a vest. Soon :-)

Ah, Malabrigo, yes! My favorite yarn, as well! The only drawback is that it is maybe a little too thick for sweaters and such (at least to my taste and preference), but oh, so perfect for scarfs!

hi there, just followed the mermaid glove link from the purl bee. Am overwhelmed and inspired! I hate socks and wanted to reinterpret the knitty pattern but you have done such an outstanding job! wow!!

Hey Steph! TAG! You're it! List 6 strange things about yourself. (Yeah I know, tagging for a me-me is almost as loathesome as sending chain-letters, but I hope you have some with it.)

Your pink scarf inspired me to use that skein of Malabrigo I bought two years ago. I had no plans for it but I thought the yarn was too pretty to pass up. Thanks!

Oh wow, Steph,

I am a photographer from Germany and would love to shoot a piece or two from your collection with a model...

I wish you weren't so far away...
Best,
Mareen

Hi, just linked over from the Purl Bee. I'm late in discovering your blog but it's great! Another 'where did you get...' question for you--the pink top in the Mermaid picture, is it vintage? I would love to try and replicate it. Any info would be much appreciated.

Argh! I spent a whole week in NYC combing the yarn stores trying to find this elusive snuffleupagus-like yarn. I came away empty-handed. boohoo. I think I'll have to take your suggestion and go online.

Love your blog!
